The second prepaid phone provider n Denmark is Telenor A/S or also called as Telenor Denmark. The company was established in 1998 and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a wholly subsidiary of the the Norwegian telecommuncations company Telenor and a joint venture business between Sonofon and Cybercity.Their services include: mobile phone (in both post paid and prepaid phone plans) services and Internet connections. Currently, Telenor Denmark has over 1.4 million active subscribers.

The prepaid phone card name for Telenor Denmark is called “Taletidskort.” The activation fee for this prepaid phone card is DKK 99 with 70 free credits. Taletidskort prepaid phone cards are valid for 3 months upon their activation. The net frequencies for Telenor Denmark are GSM 900/1800 and WCDMA 2100. The logos for this prepaid phone card are Telenor DK and SONOFON with a net code of 238 02. Taletidskort offers: set up fee for all calls for DKK 0.99 and all calls for DKK 2.89.

It is a joint venture business between Telia Stofa and TeliaSonera. They also extend their products and services in the Nordic and Baltic countries, the emerging markets of Eurasia, including Russia and Turkey, and Spain. They are considered as the third largest mobile operator in Denmark and the number one competitor of Telenor Denmark. TeliaSonera Denmark was the fourth prepaid phone operator to launch 3G services and the only provider to a have a nationwide EDGE network. They are the first to offer digital TV with their broadband services. It operates under the brand name “Call Me” for their mobile and “Telia” for their broadband services.

They offer services such as mobile (post paid and prepaid phone plans) services and mobile broadband services in WDCMA, 2G and 3G technologies. As of 2010, Hutchison 3 has over 27.8 million active subscribers worldwide.

The prepaid phone card name for Hutchison 3G Denmark is called “3Reload.” The activation fee for this prepaid phone card is DKK 200 with 200 free credits. 3Reload prepaid phone cards are only valid for 30 days upon activation. The net frequency for Hutchison 3G Denmark is WCDMA 2100.
